Chess Cake Bars Cynthia Moses
1 Pkg. yellow (butter) cake mix
1 egg
1 Stick Butter
Mix together and pat into 9X13 pan
Combine:
1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
3 eggs
1/2-3/4 lb powdered sugar
Mix well w/a mixer; pour over batter. Bake @ 325 for 1 hour
Let cool before cutting. Dust w/powdered sugar.
 
Cream Cheese Brownies Lynn Spain
1 cup butter or margarine
3 oz cream cheese
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup unsifted flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup chopped nuts
Cream butter, cream cheese and sugar until fluffy.  Beat eggs and vanilla. Gradually add combined dry ingredients.  Stir in nuts.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes in a 13X9X2 pan.


 
 

Pumpkin Dessert Squares Laura Barber

1 box yellow cake mix (reserve 1 cup)
1 stick melted butter plus 1/2 stick softened for topping
3 eggs
1/8 C. milk
1 jar Muirhead Pecan Pumpkin Butter 12-16 oz.
1 T. flour
1/4 C. sugar
1 t. cinnamon
Combine Cake Mix with 1 stick melted butter and 1 egg.  Press into bottom of 9X13 pan.  Mix Pecan Pumpkin Butter with remaining 2 eggs and 1/8 cup milk.  Pour over cake mixture.  Topping: Mix remaining 1 cup cake mix with 1 tablespoon flour.  1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 stick softened butter and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.  Mix & crumble over top of pumpkin layer.  Bake @ 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until golden.  Allow to cool before cutting.
